I got this tattoo because I love blackwork tattoos, and plan on getting more. This being the first I thought I would go with the most bold. A reverse cross, to symbolize my distaste with religion, and my overall rebellion against it.
I feel bad for you because an upside down cross is in fact the cross of Saint Peter, the first pope. He asked to be crucified on a cross upside down because he wasn’t worthy enough to die the same way as Jesus did.
So your symbol to show your disdain of religion is actually showing respect to God.People who get tattoos they don’t fully understand deserve to live with the results
